The price you pay is exactly the same whether you click through our link or go directly to the retailer. Commissions are paid by the retailer, never by the consumer.

Which links are affiliate links?

We include affiliate links in seed and supply recommendations on plant pages. Not every link is an affiliate link — we frequently link to primary sources (USDA, extension programs, NRCan) with no affiliate relationship when that's the best reference.

How this affects our recommendations

It doesn't. Whether a plant "grows well" in your zone is determined entirely by its hardiness data — never by an affiliate relationship. If a plant won't survive your zone, we say so, regardless of any product we might link.
